We are looking for a well-rounded network analyst who is detail oriented and has good communication in place of technical skill.
Responsibilities
Monitor and Report all warnings and errors created in our monitoring tools (PRTG and nAble as of 1/10/2014). Tickets are opened, tracked and verified.
Review Knowledge Base for possible solutions
Investigation of unassigned warning and errors for resolution suggestions. Using common documentation sources and searches
Documentation and investigation of false positive reports. Confirmed false positives must be communicated to a network engineer
Firewall log monitoring for various intrusion attempts such as D.O.S. attacks. Anomalies are reported.
Warranty and service expiration review of customer systems
Design, development and maintenance of various scripts used for task automation
Skills
Hours: These are evening and weekend works.
Weekdays from 10-7 and 2-11 and 10-7 on weekends
All in NOC and possible work from home after training.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
